1.1 How can I book a tour?

A: Booking your tour can be done at S9 Travels Office and also on S9website online.

1.2 Do I need to pay the entire tour price lump-sum while booking?

A: If you pay the tour price at one go 15 days prior departure then you are benefited as you get full payment discount. It is not mandatory though, you can pay the registration amount to book and pay the balance payment later.

1.3 Can my son/daughter residing abroad sponsor my tour by paying in their currency? If yes, then how?

A: Yes, they can pay the same thru online but only in Indian currency. Any transaction charges levied by the bank will be borne by you / your son / daughter.

1.4 What all are included in tour package price?

A: The tour package includes only travelling cost of the vehicle, parking charges and toll charges. The tour package price is exclusive of your accommodation, all food, sightseeing, entrance charges, guide services, etc

1.5 What is the benefit of early booking?

A: You get an advance-booking discount for all tours on paying full registration amount at the time of booking. Discounts are given on first cum first serve basis. They are valid for limited seats, limited period, and limited tours.

1.6 What benefits is offered for Repeat Clients and Senior Citizens?

A: S9 Travels does have discount for repeat clients and senior citizen. The travel consultant will provide the details when you book the tour.

2.1 Will be there any night journeys on tour?

A: As per the requirement, we can take night journeys, but we normally avoid night journeys on tour as far as possible.

2.2 What are the modes of travel on tour?

A: The modes of travel depend upon the tour, which you book. Generally, we travel by Bus, Taxi/ Cab/ Car, etc. as mentioned in the itinerary. For more information, refer respective tour itinerary page on the website.

2.3 Do lot of walking required on tours?

A: Normally, we have to walk at sightseeing places, amusement parks and at the airports sometimes for a long distance, however the same will be timely instructed by the Tour Leader.

2.3 Do we get wake-up calls on tours?

A: Yes, you do get telephonic wakeup call through the driver, however it is advisable to have your mobile alarms set to be on the safer side.

2.4 What assistance is given to a disabled person or a senior citizen, who needs special assistance on tour?

A: We recommend you to have a qualified companion accompanying the guest who needs such special assistance as individual assistance cannot be given to such guest by the Guide considering he has to manage the entire group.

2.5 Can wheelchair be taken on tour? Is it difficult while visiting places?

A: You can bring your own wheel chair and move at most of the sightseeing places but a qualified companion must accompany guest who are traveling on wheelchair.

2.6 Is drinking water provided during sightseeing?

A: Travels provides the same be mentioned in the respective tour itinerary page on the website.

2.7 Can my friend/relative join me on the tourin between at a particular destination?

A: Yes, your friend/ relative is always welcome. S/he can join us on tour subject to your intimation to us at the time of your booking and payment of prescribed charges to make him / her eligible to join our tour and avail our services on tour.

2.8 Will you recommend me where to shop on a tour?

A: Our Driver/ Guide will provide information about the shopping areas on tour;however, s/he will not suggest/recommend / promote any particular shop, area etc. to you.

2.9 What assistance is provided, if I dis-continue the scheduled tour, because of illness?

A: If you fall sick on tour, kindly inform the Tour Coordinator/ Guide immediately. The Tour Coordinator will assist you in making all arrangements for the medical aid, doctor on call etc. However, the expenses will have to be borne by you. Here, Insurance plays a major role hence we highly recommend that you should get yourself and your family insured adequately before travel.

3.1 Will I get refund of the tour after making the payment?

A: In case of cancellation of your tour by us, you will get the refund of actual amount paid by you. However, if you cancel the tour, the cancellation charges will be applicable as per the mentioned cancellation policy of S9 Travels

3.2 Can my Refund amount be transferrable to any other tour or to my friends or relatives?

A; Yes, your refund amount is transferable to other tours. In case, if you want your refund amount to be transferred to that your friends or relatives tour, we will need an Authority Letter duly signed from you.

3.3 How much time does it usually take to process a refund?

A: Ideally, it takes 7-8 working days to process refunds, once the guest agrees on refund amount.

3.4 What is be the mode of payment in case of refund?

A: Ideally, the refund amount is credited using the same mode of payment that you had used to book the tour, the only exception in this case is if you had used Cash/Demand Draft in such case, the mode of payment for refund will be 'Account Payee' Cheque only. In case of Credit Card, the transaction would be reversed accordingly, considering the bank charges/Service charges on Credit Card payments, which is non-refundable.

3.5 Are online refunds possible, if yes, what is the process and who will bear the transaction cost?

A: Online refunds are possible, if the booking was done online. If we cancels the tour for whatsoever reason, then the entire tour cost will be refunded

4.1 What is normalthe size of a tour group?

A: Generally, the number of guest traveling varies depending on the destination and occasion planned. Starting from 2-3 to average group size 10-12 and big group size will be in the range of 30 to 50

4.2 Can we extend my stay at a destination?

A: Definitely, you can extend your stay with prior intimation of such extension at the time of your booking. Additional charges will be applicable. No extensions/alterations can be done when the tour is in progress.

4.3 Is the tour itinerary susceptible to last minute changes, as we need to plan our leaves & make necessary arrangements accordingly?

A: We do not make any last moment alterationof the itinerary nor date of the tour, however in case of force majeure events; circumstances make us to change the routing or date of the tour, as the case may be, just for your safety.

4.4 Is it possible to incorporate any changes in my travel plan once the booking is done?

A: You can modify your booking or travel plan. There may be certain charges for modifications or for cancelling the old booking and making new arrangements. The staff at our offices can assist you for the same.

4.5 Do you provide Leave Travel Certificate?

A: We can provide the LTC, provided to prior intimation to us about your need at the time of booking the tour.

4.6 What is an e-ticket?

An e-ticket is a paperless electronic document with a unique confirmation number that neatly replaces the hassles of a paper ticket. You may request a copy to be sent to your e-mail id

4.8 Should I carry any ID proof while traveling?

A: Yes, all tourists traveling have to carry photo identification proof in the form of driving license, election ID card, PAN card, passport and for students their school / college ID card. In addition, at certain sightseeing places in India any Identity proof (except PAN card) is necessary which is mentioned on the respective tour itinerary page on our website

1.1 Will the Tour Leader/ Guide assistance available on the tour?

A: Group Leader/ Tour Guide service will be available in cases of group tours booked with Bus/ Mini-Bus. However, they are not responsible for baggage or any kind of personal belongings.

1.2 What will the language usedby Tour Leader/ Guide to communicate with us on tour?

A: The Tour Leader/ Guide will normally communicate or give directions in Hindi and English.

1.3 Usually, how many Tour Leaders are allotted to a group tour?

A: For Tours, we have one Tour Leader/ Guide for the entire group (more than 20 guests)
